Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process endorsements, audit, policies, cancellations, reporting forms and invoicing according to R&Y procedures manual within acceptable time frame and with accuracy.
- Issue new and renewal certificates of insurance and EPI’s.
- Prepare and secure premium finance agreements and surplus lines non-admitted forms, as well as mod master.
- Obtain P&C license after six months on the job.
- Create/prepare proposals and presentations from direction of Client Managers.
- Prepare various reports, exhibits and spreadsheets, including premium and loss recap, schedules of insurances, etc.
- Input new client data and assist in applications for renewal process.
- Maintain good documentation through use of good scanning procedures, telephone logs, notes, etc.
- Handle team’s client discrepancies in a timely fashion.
- Collect underwriting information such as loss runs, MVR’s, driver’s list, and experience mod worksheets.
- Sort and distribute mail daily for team.
- Maintain and monitor daily suspense to follow up on items requested of clients and carriers.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-time work experience, or at least a two year college degree.
- Basic computer/data entry skills (agency management, word processing, spreadsheets).
- Good interpersonal skills and customer focus.
- The ability to do detailed work effectively and efficiently.
- The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
