Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our General Industries Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing commercial lines, with a deep understanding of the insurance needs of clients in various industries. The seasoned Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a diverse book of business generating approximately $1M in annual revenue. This role will focus on maintaining and expanding client relationships, policy analysis, negotiation, and underwriting.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their unique insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Innovatively address client challenges by leveraging a wide range of products and services, from traditional insurance policies to emerging fintech solutions to enhance client portfolios.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, tailored to address specific client needs and demonstrate our value propositions.

Policy Analysis and Underwriting:

  • Analyze client policies and risk exposure to recommend appropriate coverage and limits.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions that meet client needs.
  • Ensure all policies comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of policy renewals, endorsements, and claims. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other members of the General Industries Practice Group to share insights and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage associates and keep track of service deadlines to ensure timely delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business development initiatives.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • Active Property & Casualty License Required

  • Strong organizational skills- ability to prioritize and be proactive

  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variables furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

  • Applied Systems / EPIC experience a plus

  • Knows and applies principles of insurance to everyday situations.


Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines within the insurance industry.

  • CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), CRM (Certified Risk Manager), or similar certifications are preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
