Our Ballarat Head Office has an opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Finance team. This role offers a clear path for career advancement within Brandt, supported by ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving equipment sales by optimizing financing solutions and fostering strong relationships with both our internal sales teams and external financial partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your financial acumen to influence strategic decisions and contribute directly to the success of Brandt Finance.

Job Duties:

  • Facilitate equipment sales by optimizing financing solutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with sales teams and external financial institutions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements to provide actionable insights.
  • Evaluate credit bureaus and deliver informed recommendations for credit decisions.
  • Drive achievement of sales and market share targets to ensure sustained success for Brandt Finance.
  • Stay abreast of competitive developments to uphold Brandt Finance’s commitment to superior products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in equipment finance, with a proven track record in structuring financing solutions and managing financial risk within a commercial setting.
  • A solid understanding of the equipment sales industry, including familiarity with financing structures, credit evaluation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with sales teams, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting financial statements, assessing credit risk, and providing strategic recommendations.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and excel at building productive relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Prior Brandt group experience would be considered an asset.
