Purpose of the role
Lead the financial performance of a customer group by influencing commercial decisions, challenging constructively and driving performance through trusted business partnership and financial insight.
Enable sustainable commercial growth by influencing leaders to make well-managed decisions through intelligent governance, proportionate controls and proactive risk management.
Key accountabilities
Switzerland and Austria Off trade - Commercial Finance
- Partner commercial leaders to improve business performance and deliver agreed financial outcomes.
- Support value creation agenda with focus on category/customer analyses, value chain optimizations and benchmark analyses.
- Influence pricing, investment and resource allocation decisions through robust financial insight.
- Drive performance management by identifying risks, opportunities and timely interventions. Drive and support scenario planning at customer teams and contribute to DACH
- Build trusted relationships that enable constructive challenge and better decision making
- Champion continuous improvement in forecasting, commercial planning and financial discipline
DACH Internal Controls
- Influence senior leaders to proactively identify, assess and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement across the market.
- Partner Commercial, Supply, HR and Functional teams to ensure risk is considered in strategic decision making.
- Lead management monitoring, control improvement programmes and regulatory readiness while simplifying the control environment where appropriate.
About You
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
- Typically 5–8+ years Finance experience across Commercial Finance, Marketing Finance, FP&A, Financial Control or Strategy Finance.
- Strong analytical capability with proven experience influencing decision making through financial insight, investment appraisal and strategic analysis.
- Experience in embedding enterprise control frameworks and leading change is an asset.
