As our Lead Commercial Finance Business Partner, you’ll:
- partner strategically with our MGA and Commercial teams, providing crucial trading performance analytics and deepening insights into the commercial drivers of the business
- work closely with Commercial leadership to drive the long-term strategy of the business, ensuring short-term decisions are aligned and supportive of our ambitious goals
- lead and support the budget and re-forecast processes, demonstrating adaptability to changes in our core operating model. You'll navigate multiple, sometimes ambiguous, data sources and evolving processes as we transition to new finance and BI systems
- deeply understand the end-to-end profitability requirements of our growth and optimization initiatives, translating complex data into meaningful financial analysis and providing strategic interrogation of business cases
We’re looking for someone who is:
- a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- an experienced business partner within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of influencing commercial decisions
- comfortable managing large datasets, with a keen appreciation for potential ambiguity and the ability to find clarity.
- experienced working with Data teams and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense)
- excellent at financial modelling, able to translate complex financial data into insightful, management-level information that drives action
