The internship is part of the Commercial Excellence – Global Markets team, based at the company headquarters.
The team operates across several key pillars of Commercial Excellence:
Sales Excellence: improving salesforce effectiveness and execution of field actions.
Customer Engagement: strengthening relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and key customers.
Sales Training & Upskilling: supporting capability-building initiatives through the Sales Academy.
Revenue Growth Management (RGM) & Global Key Account Management: driving sustainable growth, pricing excellence, and key customer strategies.
The scope of the role is global, with the objective of contributing to the company's "Return to Growth" ambition by supporting the continuous improvement of commercial performance across international markets.
Your key missions:
A. Commercial Maturity Assessment (CMA)
Preparation and coordination of assessments with local affiliates.
Structured analysis of market inputs and performance data.
Creation of deliverables, executive summaries, action plans, and progress tracking updates.
Management of a high volume of activities and stakeholders.
B. ACE – Achieving Commercial Excellence
Update and maintain Commercial Excellence standards and guidelines.
Benchmark and consolidate best practices across Pernod Ricard markets.
Coordinate initiatives with Tech teams.
Contribute to internal communications, including newsletters, workshops, and task forces.
Support the development of training materials, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools.
C. Digital Program – D STAR
Support the deployment and adoption of D STAR, a machine learning-based commercial recommendation tool currently implemented in 11 markets.
Monitor roadmap execution, KPIs, and dashboard performance.
Participate in Tech and Business steering committees.
Identify, assess, and prioritize enhancement opportunities, including innovation-related features.
Act as a liaison between market needs and Tech teams to ensure business requirements are addressed.
D. Vision & Commercial Excellence Frameworks
Contribute to the continuous update of Commercial Excellence frameworks and guidelines.
Consolidate insights and feedback from markets.
Support the evolution and deployment of the Commercial Excellence strategic roadmap.

You have previous professional experience in a tech, consulting, or multinational company within a complex matrix organization.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), and capacity to deliver content in efficient and agile manner.
You are familiar with Agile methodologies and tools.
You are able to work in a multicultural team.
You are fluent in English, French is a plus.
Some nice to have:
You have experience in digital product ownership and business-oriented software & data science projects.
You have understanding on sales processes, particularly in the Consumer Goods industry.
You have basic knowledge and understanding of data science/machine learning.
Please note: to apply, you must be able to complete 6 months of internship and have an agreement issued by your school/university.
