Summary
Leader Bank, N.A., one of the fastest growing banks in Massachusetts, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Credit Analyst that will be hybrid with our Arlington, MA corporate office. This position is responsible for the evaluation of commercial credit and deal structure for commercial & industrial and commercial real estate customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Credit Approval Memoranda for analysis of repayment ability, collateral adequacy, credit worthiness, appropriate loan structure and adherence to Bank policies and proper loan risk rating.
- Prepare financial spread sheets to properly assess cash flow and debt service coverage.
- Conduct annual portfolio reviews and credit & legal file audits.
- Manage credit renewals and maturities via portfolio monitoring. Interact with lending officers to obtain appropriate information to complete a credit analysis.
- Occasionally attend joint calls with the commercial loan officer to gather more information about the business.
- Ensure that covenant compliance and financial reporting requirements are addressed.
- Review appraisals and/or environmental reports, as needed.
- Review standard commitment letters for conformance with approval terms.
- Attend credit training courses as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in commercial credit.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
- Ability to operate a personal computer with a strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and complete tasks with deadlines.
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Leader Bank salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
Salary Minimum: $56,153.00 - Salary Max: $100,000.00
The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank's total compensation package for team members. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Leader Bank provides a variety of benefits to eligible team members, including health insurance coverage, a team member wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off and vacation.
