What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse financial statements, cash flow and supporting information to assess commercial credit applications.
- Prepare and write detailed credit submissions and recommendations.
- Evaluate risk and support sound lending decisions aligned to business objectives and credit policies.
- Develop an understanding of customers, dealers and industry dynamics.
- Monitor borrower performance and support ongoing portfolio management activities.
- Assist with collections, credit limit reviews and risk mitigation strategies where required.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continue developing your commercial judgement and credit expertise through coaching and on-the-job learning.
Essential
- Degree qualified in Accounting/ Finance or related discipline.
- Knowledge of assessing and manually preparing commercial credit applications, credit submissions or credit recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Well-developed written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
