We are actively hiring for a Commercial Claims Insurance Analyst – Remote
Your Role: Seasoned professional with a strong understanding of the functional area who supports overall business strategy through complex analysis and problem-solving. Applies insurance knowledge, analytical methodologies, and technical expertise to evaluate business needs, solve unstructured problems, and develop actionable solutions and recommendations.
Manages a broad range of complex and diverse assignments, exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making. Participates in larger-scale initiatives, leads smaller projects, and provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Work primarily supports Commercial Lines of business, with opportunities to assist with Personal Lines analysis as business needs arise.
Your Work:Performs complex data analysis for assigned client groups, evaluating findings in relation to broader business objectives Collaborates with cross-functional partners outside of IPM/IPO to gather insights, validate findings, and gain alignment on recommended actions
Applies knowledge of broader business issues and trends to develop recommendations, improve procedures, and identify additional analysis needed to support effective solutions
Prepares and communicates findings and recommendations to business partners and may co-present results to senior management. Reviews the work of less experienced team members for accuracy, logic, and appropriateness as needed
Develops and enhances processes for reporting information and insights to clients, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and reporting cadence
Provides coaching and guidance to team members on reporting processes, analytical approaches, and effective communication of findings
Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)
Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.
Required Experience, Education and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of directly related experience
Strong coding and data visualization skills required, with proficiency in tools such as SAS, Snowflake, and Power BI
Strong research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills, with the ability to structure and conduct complex analyses and effectively communicate findings
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with a variety of audiences
Demonstrated adaptability, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to colleagues
MBA or other advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
Strong knowledge and understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts, products, and industry practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and various structured analysis, and design techniques

The national average salary range for this position is $99,855.00-$110,950.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $99,855.00-$133,250.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.Colorado Specific Job Range :$99,855.00 - $122,050.00This job posting will be unposted on Thu, 17 Sep 2026.Skills Required
