We are seeking a commercially driven professional with a strong finance/accounting background to support the growth and financial performance of our multidisciplinary studio, spanning interior design, and product development projects.
This role sits at the intersection of business development, finance, and project execution, ensuring that all projects are commercially viable, well-structured, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Commercial Strategy
- Identify and support new business opportunities across design, and product sectors
- Develop pricing strategies aligned with market positioning and profitability targets
Financial Oversight & P&L Management
- Own and track project-level P&L across all business verticals
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans
- Monitor cost vs revenue and flag risks proactively
Contracts & Deal Structuring
- Review and structure client and supplier contracts
- Ensure favorable payment terms, milestones, and risk mitigation
- Support negotiations to protect margins and cash flow
Project Commercial Control
- Track project performance from award to completion
- Ensure alignment between scope, budget, and execution
- Manage variations, change orders, and financial adjustments
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the link between design, procurement, finance, and management
- Support decision-making with financial insights
- Improve internal systems for budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
Requirements
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 3 - 4 years of experience in Project-based businesses (interiors, construction, and product manufacturing)
- Strong understanding of:
- P&L management
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Contract structuring
- Commercially minded with negotiation skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and execution-driven
Skills Required
