Role OverviewThe Commercial Analyst supports recurring reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence efforts across Inizio Ignite. This role focuses on compiling month-end reports, updating dashboards and data models, and supporting teams with accurate, well-organized data. The Analyst works closely with the Business Intelligence & Reporting Lead and Sr. Commercial leaders to help ensure reports are timely, reliable, and easy to use for decision-making.Here’s what you’ll be doing:- Support month-end reporting, including MFR (Monthly Financial review) and Monthly KPI deliverables, by pulling data, updating Excel files, and preparing PowerPoint presentations.
- Help respond to follow-up questions and ad-hoc data requests that come out of monthly reporting meetings.
- Support company-level reporting, including preparing bi-weekly PowerPoint updates using data pulled from Power BI.
- Support Power BI data models by uploading revenue forecasts by account and sales forecasts by month.
- Calculate and update weekly pipeline metrics and help ensure the data remains accurate and consistent.
- Maintain Account mapping file (in excel) to help keep Account-level data organized across reporting tools.
- Update and maintain Power BI dashboards, including making quarterly updates to reflect revised timelines. Support updates related to fiscal year changes and other routine reporting adjustments.
- Help troubleshoot common PowerBI dashboard and data refresh issues.
- Assist with dashboard improvements and help build new reports as needed, with guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate with IT and log ServiceNow tickets for data issues that arise
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Interest in analytical work and comfort digging into raw data to understand details and trends.
- Willingness to collaborate across teams and work with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on keeping data accurate, clean, and well organized.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in commercial analytics, finance, or a related analytical role (2-5 years).
- Comfortable raising questions or flagging issues when they arise, with the ability to communicate clearly and constructively.
