Are you our new Commercial Adminstrator?

Working in the Seawatch Service Line, and the Commercial Team of the Seawatch Center of Excellence, you will co-ordinate and participate in the preparation and delivery of high quality technical and commercial proposals and quotes to meet our clients’ needs across the Europe-Africa region. clients primarily consist of Renewable Energy companies (mainly offshore wind), infrastructure developers and marine governmental agencies and institutes.

What would a typical day look like?

• Review of Tender documents, to accurately assess client requirements and needs.
• Liaison with relevant Fugro personnel/departments/service lines and external suppliers.
• Generate prequalification documents and coordinate the tender submission preparation process, including control of internal tender documentation.
• Assist the aftersale function generating quotes and coordinating the purchase order workflow.
• Assist the sales function of the Commercial Department and marketing/promotional activities.
• Assist the sales function along the L2C process using Fugro's Customer Relationship Management system.
• Client vendor portal registrations.

The successful candidate should enjoy working in a dynamic, technological environment with a commercial drive. Broadening your network both internally and externally to develop your commercial awareness in order to compliment your technical knowledge

• Job experience with international tenders is an advantage.
• Education in technical/scientific subjects (e.g. oceanography, meteorology, mathematics, physics, marine sciences or similar) is an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English language (verbal and written)
• Administrative skills
• High attention to details
• Ability to make priorities and work well to demanding deadlines under pressure
• Pro-active, positive and flexible approach to work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
