This is a hybrid role that must work out of our Boston, MA office 3 days per week.

Tines is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our expanding sales division. As a member of the growing North American sales team, you will be an important part of our sales growth, our Go To Market strategy, and our culture. You will be responsible for prospecting potential new customers; guiding customers through the entire sales cycle; collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success, and Solution Engineers; expanding your customer base through a land and expand model; building and maintaining relationships with our key partners and building/maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in the Security and IT space.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a high volume book of commercial customers through the sales cycle from prospecting through closing and expansion
  • Clearly demonstrate and articulate the capabilities, power and value of the Tines automation platform to prospective and current customers
  • Uncover fresh and diverse use cases to enable our customers to remove barriers and assist them to work smarter
  • Actively prospect to supplement the lead flow provided by a dedicated team of Business Development Representatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with the AE’s at our key go to market partners, including: AWS, SHI, and our VAR partner ecosystem
  • Partner closely with the Solutions Engineering team throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate across Tines business functions (Legal, Customer Success, Marketing, etc ) to ensure a world class customer experience
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership to build a strong business plan through customer, partner and community ecosystems to achieve growth within your accounts and specified territory
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to develop repeatable strategies for new logo acquisition in this growing segment
  • Deliver feedback to Product and Go to Market teams on suggestions from customers and prospects specific to our commercial segment
  • Embody our core values of speed, simplicity and soundness in your daily work

What you bring with you:

  • Prior quota-carrying sales experience at a software company including strong outbound pipeline generation and opportunity qualification skills
  • Minimum 1 year in a full closing cycle role (Ideally 2-3 years)
  • Experience positioning solutions to cybersecurity practitioners and/or technical stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CISO, Engineering, DevOps, IT, Security)
  • Ability to prospect for outbound leads and at the same time nurture and develop inbound lead flow
  • Successful track record of achieving quarterly goals, metrics, and objectives
  • Cross-department collaboration experience
  • Coachability and curiosity: open to feedback, proven ability to learn from mistakes, eager to question the norm
  • A passion to work at an early stage startup; a desire (real hunger) to make an impact for your team and the company
  • Located in Boston and able to be in the office at least 3 days per week

Annual on target compensation (salary + commission): $160,000 + equity
