Job Summary
The Senior Manager, IAM Engineering will lead the strategy, engineering, operations, and continuous improvement of Comcast's Identity and Access Management platform. This role oversees a team of 4-6 employees and contractors delivering secure, scalable, and compliant identity solutions across the enterprise. The leader will manage day-to-day IAM operations, support identity governance and access management, drive platform modernization, partner with senior stakeholders, and serve as a trusted delegate for organizational leadership when needed.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop IAM engineers, contractors, and technical specialists.
- Own operational health, support, maintenance, and engineering delivery for the myComcastAccess platform.
- Drive SailPoint IdentityIQ and Radiant Logic platform strategy, adoption, and enhancements.
- Manage IAM operations, escalations, service reliability, and capacity planning.
- Partner across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Application, and Business teams.
- Provide executive-ready presentations, roadmap updates, and status reporting.
- Oversee identity governance, provisioning, certifications, lifecycle management, and application onboarding.
- Advance cloud identity, automation, APIs, DevOps, and platform engineering practices.
- Leading the development and operational support of advanced identity and access management solutions, ensuring they're scalable and meet business requirements
- Fostering a team culture of technical and operational excellence, while preparing strategic plans to guarantee system and procedural readiness
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement identity and access management strategies that integrate with various vendor platforms
- Driving continuous improvement in identity and access management operations, researching innovative methods to enhance strategy and functionality
- Ensuring robust security controls and adherence to policies and standards, focusing on automation and proactive control measures
- Analyzing current IT architecture and future needs, listing necessary applications and versions for integration with identity and access management systems
- Defining user roles and access privileges clearly, assessing customization levels to ensure solutions align with enterprise needs
- Monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining readiness to support the business during variable schedules, including nights and weekends
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of IAM experience in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years leading engineering, operations, or technical delivery teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ and modern identity governance concepts.
- Experience managing employees, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong executive communication, planning, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience supporting large-scale IAM operations and escalation management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Radiant Logic VDS/FID/Global Sync expertise.
- CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID experience.
- Cloud identity architecture across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, and directory services.
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, SailPoint, or related certifications.

Salary:
New Jersey Pay Range: $161,405.25 - $242,107.88
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
