Responsibilities
- Engineer scalable and secure collaboration platforms (chat, conferencing, file share, workflow automation) to ensure high performance, reliability and usability.
- Apply DevOps practices (e.g. CI/CD) to automate deployments and workflows, improving efficiency, product quality and on-boarding speed.
- Build analytics pipelines and observability dashboards to monitor the platform health, applying SRE principles to improve uptime and responsiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the collaboration experience, drive feature enhancements, and explore emerging technologies like AI and automation.
Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
- Background in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with programming languages (Python, Powershell, or similar) and familiarity with applying DevOps/SRE practices.
- Exposure to collaboration platforms and tools (e.g. MS Teams, Slack, Zoom).
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore new tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge or exposure to automation and observability platforms and tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Terraform).
- Internship or project experience with collaboration or conferencing platforms
- Participation in hackathons, open-source projects, or personal automation projects.
