Job Description

Clients and service oriented, the Technical Expert monitors within a project the quality of the requirements:

• Support IT specialists by gathering and sharing transversal information. 
• Bring clarity and highlight the business impact of the retained solution. 
• Attend the project daily meetings. 
• Software Development using Cobol language.
• Perform development work with efficient and quality deliverables.
• Understand the requirements document and convert them into Cobol programs.
• Work with Business Analyst and Technical Leads to deliver quality product.
• Involves in support activity during various testing phases of the project.
• Strictly adhere to client’s standards, processes, quality and security processes.
• Creating test documents and execute test cases.
• Provide support to clients when doing User Acceptance Testing.
• Aid junior team members in solving technical issues and provide knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of programming experience in COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CICS COBOL Online (Screens and Maps) and sequential file handling
• More than 5 years experienced in system analysis and design
• Experience in Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tool
• Knowledge in Unix shell scripts is good to have
• More than 5 years experience in conducting program unit testing and system integration testing
• Experience with: 
  • Sequential file Handling
  • Jira/Confluence
  • CI/CD Understanding Jenkins, Git
  • Java

Languages:

• Proficiency in English (minimum C1) and French (minimum B1) is mandatory for this position.
