Job DescriptionYou will be working in a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills in tight collaboration practising Agile. You will be contributing to real decisions about technology to create maintainable solutions for our customers and participating in a highly collaborative group of software engineering professionals. Learning, developing your skills and becoming a rounded Developer in the process.
You will develop software to meet our client's user needs using Cobol, follow best practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines.
Things we are looking out for:
- Strong Cobol development
- Experience developing fully functioning Cobol applications
- Scaling, and management using Kubernetes, and Terraform, both in the cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Front End development knowledge/ experience in React, Node or Javascript
- Angular, Spring, HTML, SQL, etc. desirable.
- Experience in Agile delivery with knowledge of CI/CD, building pipelines, testing and architecture
