The Role
Support and define a Customer Security team focused on abuse management and advocacy. Develop automation with human-in-the-loop risk scoring, define abuse decision matrices, coordinate cross-team abuse processes, track abuse metrics, and advise on authentication/authorization strategies to reduce friction while improving customer security.

Squarespace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented mid level analyst to support and help define a newly defined Security team that will focus on Customer Security advocacy and managing the abuse pipeline. This role will also join forces with other organizations within Squarespace to define what abuse of our products is and implement automation and processes to minimize its impact.

You will report to our Customer Security Manager and be based hybrid out of our Dublin office (3x/week)

Responsibilities
  • Proactively work with all teams that handle abuse to define a decision matrix on when to suspend an account, product, or have a discussion with the customer.
  • Collaborate with all the teams that handle abuse to define which teams handle what type of abuse and ensure communications between these teams is excellent.
  • Develop automation with 'human in the loop" processes to provide a risk score to each abuse compliant and then appropriately action.
  • Manage the abuse process consistently looking for improvements based on feedback and process metrics.
  • Work with Product Managers on authentication and authorization strategies that minimize friction but still increase the Customer's security on our platform and products.
  • Track, document, and report abuse metrics.
  • Define, collect, and analyze security KPIs and KRIs for the Customer security organization.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in 
    • Anti-Abuse operations (Fraud, Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, etc.), and/or Risk assessment (Threat Modeling, Vendor Assessments, NIST, ISO, etc.)
    • Project management (Agile frameworks)
    • Stakeholder relations
  • Experience with domain and/or website abuse processes
  • Experience with automation, tools, and systems processing complaints and concerns from customers (i.e. Exposure to case management software such as ZenDesk, Sift, Stripe Radar, Splunk)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and very well versed in working and collaborating with stakeholders across organizational boundaries
