Driven by impactful, long-term projects, the aim is to enhance state-of-the-art research while integrating innovations into the company's products and services, including LLMs, RL, NLP, computer vision, audio, speech, AI theory, and Autonomous driving.
About the job:
Research and develop state-of-the-art technology in speech and audio AI.
Perform tasks such as literature review, algorithm implementation, data collection and analysis.
Work with various types of speech and audio analysis using cutting-edge deep learning, and speech and audio signal processing techniques.
Document, present and publish research results.
Work under supervision in a team, with other researchers, senior researchers and coop researchers.
The total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $58,000 to $104,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
About the ideal candidate:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Interest in and solid understanding of speech and audio fundamentals (Data Structure / Algorithm).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong software development skills.
Previous internship experiences with C++ and Python development.
Good understanding of deep learning and classic machine learning techniques (Artificial Neural Networks / Transforms and Foundational Models / SVM / PCA / Linear Regression / Decision Trees, etc.).
Able to grasp basic speech and audio processing concepts and techniques.
Experience with applying machine learning or speech and audio methods to real-world problems.
Experience with TensorFlow, Pytorch, or other deep learning frameworks.
Experience with Android development and familiar with JNI is an asset.
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, with creative thinking and attention to details.
Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task under considerable pressure and changing priorities.
