Position Summary:
This internship provides a structured learning experience designed to build technical and commercial knowledge in welding applications and customer solutions. Under the guidance of a Professional Engineer and assigned mentor, the intern will gain exposure to sales support, customer applications, and ESAB product technologies through project-based work and hands-on learning.
Key Learning Responsibilities and Project Work:
Participate in a structured onboarding and training program to develop foundational knowledge of ESAB welding and cutting products, processes, and applications
Support assigned project-based learning assignments focused on welding applications, product usage, and customer solutions
Shadow and observe technical and sales professionals to understand customer engagement, application recommendations, and solution development
Assist with research and documentation of welding processes and application use cases to support internal knowledge sharing
Contribute to preparing materials and demonstrations (e.g., Cobot demonstrations) as part of guided learning activities
Collaborate with team members on defined short-term projects with clear learning objectives, deliverables, and timelines
Skills Required
