PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
- Opportunity to work within a collaborative, high‑volume OB practice, with care provided under a collaborative agreement with physicians and increasing autonomy as the midwifery model continues to develop.
- Join a team of experienced Certified Nurse Midwives who manage their own patient panels and provide continuity of care through delivery, with a shared goal of building a fully independent midwifery program.
- Supportive, collegial, and highly engaged team culture that values collaboration and mutual respect.
- Be part of a comprehensive care team consisting of 14 physicians, 7 midwives, 4 genetic counselors, 3 nurse practitioners, 1 physician assistant, and 35 additional team members, all committed to working together to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

OB/GYN Department - Duluth Clinic – 1st Street
(Potential outreach locations in the Twin Ports Area)
SCHEDULE:
- 0.6 FTE position
- Practice includes clinic, hospital coverage, and potential on‑call responsibilities for laboring patients
- Participation in weekend and call rotation
- Call shifts are not included in the assigned FTE and are compensated separately, with additional pay when called in

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:EDUCATION & LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a master degree and certified registered nurse midwifery program as approved by the American College of Nurse Midwives.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in MN
- Current certification in CPR.
- National certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
