WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will play a key role in ensuring that our CNC machines operate efficiently and accurately by setting up, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate parts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and editing programs for CNC machines.
- Applying knowledge of machine setup and CNC programming.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize cost and programming.
- Reviewing and interpreting fabrication and shop drawings.
- Running test setups on CNC machines and adjusting for correct dimensions.
- Selecting speeds, feeds, and tooling for various operations.
- Assisting with training and providing hands-on instruction for new and current employees.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing operations.

WHEN YOU COULD WORK:
- 10 Hour Shift: Monday-Thursday
- Overtime available!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Associate degree or two-year technical/community college certificate OR three years of relevant experience in machine and tool building.
- Minimum of three years of experience with shop drawing and fabrication drawing.
- Experience managing and editing CNC programming, preferably with Mecal CNC machines.
- Strong ability to interpret and review shop and fabrication drawings.
- Proficiency in optimizing CAD models for CNC programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering and production teams.
- Experience in the curtain wall industry is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills, including training and mentoring team members.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
