What kind of work may be involved?
- Design, set and machine components as ordered by all customers.
- Ensure the best price and solution is provided to our customers.
- Operate and maintain preventively machine shop machines and equipment in a safe manner.
- Develop customer relationships to ensure the Branch is the supplier of choice.
- Ensure that the shop shelves are immaculate and re-stocked for sale, report any discrepancies in stock.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilization.
Ideal skills & experience:
- Experience on CNC lathes operating with live tooling.
- Fluent in conversational G Code.
- Programming and setting with Siemens controllers is an advantage.
- Exposure to machining rubbers/urethane and plastics is advantageous.
- Physically fit to meet the requirements of the role.
- Reliable, team player attitude.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong awareness and adherence to Safety & Wellbeing practices to ensure you and your teammates are safe at all times about Health & Safety.
