Our Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist for either first or second shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 or more years of CNC machining experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working with CNC machines and equipment, associated tools and their maintenance
  • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations
  • Selecting correct tooling and parts to perform the job
  • Uploading and downloading programs into the CNC equipment based on detailed specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, programmers and other team members
  • Ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments
  • Inspecting and performing preventive maintenance of CNC Equipment

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3 or more years' experience as a CNC Machinist Preferred
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong planning and documentation skills, detail focused 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven production environment.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations including converting fractions to decimals 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically active work
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, setup sheets and work tickets
  • Willingness to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities

First or Second Shift is available at our Gorham facility

First Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm

Second Shift: Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm to 12:45 am
