Our Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 or more years of manual machining experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of machines, tools and their maintenance
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, setup sheets and work tickets 
  • Uploading and downloading programs into the CNC equipment based on detailed specifications
  • Setting up the CNC equipment with the correct tooling and parts to perform the job
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, programmers and other team members
  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment
  • Ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments
  • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance of CNC Equipment

Requirements

  •   3 – 5 Years Experience as a CNC Machinist Preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically active work.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong planning and documentation skills, detail focused.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven production environment.
