- Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd (Monday - Friday)
- Type of Employment: Full-time
- Location: Jefferson Hills, PA
- Division/Department: Manufacturing/Machine Shop
- Reports to: CNC Supervisor
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components
- Read, interpret, and edit G-code programs
- Perform machining operations while maintaining quality and productivity standards
- Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T requirements
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with machinists, engineers, and project managers
- Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment
- Follow company safety standards, policies, and manufacturing best practices
- Document production information, process adjustments, and inspection results
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned
Required
- 2+ years related machine shop experience, or completed Journeyman machining program
- High school diploma or GED required
- Advanced trigonometry and geometry machinist mathematical skills
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining technique
- Competent at reading and understanding measuring devices, blueprints and shop drawings
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 60lbs. unassisted. Assistance must be used for any items over this weight. Assistance is always required for anything weighing over 60 lbs
- Programming ability and/or experience
