We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join a precision CNC machining operation. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone with strong Hexagon CMM and PC-DMIS programming experience.
What You’ll Do
- Program and operate Hexagon CMM equipment using PC-DMIS.
- Create and optimize inspection programs for precision-machined components.
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read blueprints and interpret GD&T requirements.
- Analyze measurement data and document inspection results.
- Use gauges and precision measuring equipment to verify part conformity.
- Work with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve dimensional issues.
- Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and inspection process improvements.
- Maintain the calibration and accuracy of inspection equipment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience programming Hexagon CMM equipment using PC-DMIS.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Experience inspecting tight-tolerance CNC-machined components.
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Experience with first-article and in-process inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and dimensional problem-solving skills.
- Precision machining, aerospace, or defense manufacturing experience is preferred.
