Support the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of Canon Middle East.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting and payment activities.
Support financial reporting, compliance, internal controls and coordination of regional accounting activities.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the Finance function through process discipline, stakeholder coordination and continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and process supplier and customer invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Review & validate employee expense claims including supporting documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers, employees and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, expense and payment-related queries.
Prepare and process supplier payments and employee reimbursements through banking platforms and related systems.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly reconciliations including bank, supplier, employee and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of management reports and other finance-related analyses as required.
Process and maintain accounting journals and other financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support statutory, regulatory and audit requirements by maintaining accurate records and providing relevant documentation.
Support the accounting oversight of Representative Offices, including coordination with external accounting service providers and local stakeholders to ensure timely reporting and compliance.
Ensure compliance with established internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support finance transformation and automation initiatives where applicable.
Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant recognized formal qualifications (University major in financial accounting) (essential).
- Professional Accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, CIMA, etc).
- Practical “hands-on” exposure in a similar Finance role (3 years minimum).
