At CLP, our two-year Engineering Graduate Trainee Programme offers an intensive learning journey that will support you to unleash your potential. You will get broad exposure across CLP’s operations in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and other locations, acquire the skills and tools needed to prepare you for leading energy transition and digitalisation projects, as well as build a strong network with other graduates.
Upon successful completion of the programme and satisfactory performance, you will be offered a position in one of our engineering departments, leading to a career as an Engineering Manager and beyond. Many of our senior leaders began their careers in our Engineering Graduate Trainee Programme.

Who are we looking for?

- Are a final-year student or recent graduate (with no more than 3 years' full-time work experience) with a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a university (1)
- Have outstanding academic achievements

- Want to contribute to creating sustainable energy solutions for shareholders, customers, communities and future generations
- Enjoy solving problems and learning from new challenges

(1) Participants with academic qualifications recognised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) may undergo HKIE-accredited Scheme “A” Training. For graduates studying outside Hong Kong, please check with HKIE/ Engineering Council/ CEEAA for information on Scheme “A” accreditation programme.

Skills Required
