Our partner is a well established organisation who is building a stealth mode startup. Their mission is to build a new product team in Bulgaria and looking for a highly experienced professional to lead the design of virtualization platforms.
This is a consulting position - not a full time one (2-3 hours weekly).
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with a solid C or C++ experience to join the team and to be responsible for delivering expert consulting services in cloud architecture and virtualization solutions.
This role involves working closely with a software engineer, a data scientist and a security consultant to build a new product which aims to revolutionize the way we envision and work with authentication and cloud security.
We are looking for people with a genuine focus and interest on Cloud Governance, Security, Data Science and Software Engineering, who are interested in developing customized solutions that optimize cloud authentication and security.
Mission:
Architect comprehensive software with cloud and virtualization solutions. Ensure seamless implementation into the product design. Have a hands on approach into software engineering to build the prototype and provide expert advice to the product life cycle phase.
This is both a strategic designer and a hands on role. Your expertise will guide the team in making informed technology investment decisions and support them in maximizing their cloud capabilities for enhanced performance and scalability.
What you will you do:
- Hands-on Development & Architecture: Particular emphasis in C and C++ Programming Model is a good basis.
- Virtualization & Infrastructure: Build and optimize virtualization environments using VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
- Software Engineering & Prototyping: Contribute directly to coding and prototype development, ensuring seamless cloud integration
- Technology Advisory: Guide technology choices, ensuring alignment with best practices and emerging cloud trends.
Hard Skills:
- Proven experience in working as a Senior C or C++ Software Engineer in large scale, Enterprise - cloud driven organizations
- Proven capabilities to architect scalable, secure cloud solutions and guide their implementation.
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, or similar but with hands on development.
- Strong background in cloud strategies and tools.
- Solid understanding and interest in staying updated on emerging cloud trends and technologies.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members.
- Ability to manage the project and adhere to deadlines.
