The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our CTS (Cloud and Technical Services) team. This individual will play a critical role in managing, supporting, and evolving our cloud environments to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of our hosted ERP solution, bridging the gap between infrastructure and application development.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize both thick client and web applications.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and external technical experts to identify and address service gaps proactively.
- Learn Datacor's ERP System and the corresponding relationship between the backend database and the frontend software.
- Work with urgency to minimize downtime to customers.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Microsoft SQL Server including Transact-SQL and general database management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access schemas, queries, tables, indices, and underlying database elements.
- Affinity for Microsoft Server Operating systems and the ability to migrate files/folders between disconnected environments.
- Aptitude with database migrations, specifically concerning the process of converting Microsoft Access databases to SQL.
- Must be proficient in English (C1 level).
