We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Architect to join our Global Cloud Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based platforms and solutions for our clients.

Collaborate with business units and IT teams alike to design and deliver secure, scalable and cost-efficient cloud solutions
Develop, refine, and enforce enterprise-wide cloud architecture standards, blueprints, and infrastructure guidelines for different AI and non AI services.
Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment
Continuously identify and evaluate new technologies and services to support KION Group’s digital transformation
Lead the innovation and improvement of existing services and solutions
Implement and transport services into the KION Group's digital platforms in close cooperation with the development teams
Support product teams with in-depth knowledge of cloud services and best practices
Proactively initiate and drive projects to ensure ongoing efficiency and modernization

Your Skills and Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
At least six years of experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
Proven expertise in at least two major cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for designing, optimizing, and maintaining complex architectures
Experience with cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and cost optimization strategies
Strong knowledge of automation and infrastructure-as-code techniques and scripting languages
Understand actual Generative AI solutions and Machine Learning services
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in global, cross-functional teams
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
