Cloudera is looking for an excellent technical writer who can write high-quality documentation that enables our customers to use Cloudera enterprise applications to manage large data clusters. As a Senior Technical Writer you will…

• Create clear, concise, and user-focused technical content, including installation guides, how-to articles, administration documentation.

• Test software to understand product functionality, validate procedures, and contribute to usability improvements.

• Publish content using Cloudera’s Content Development tools and infrastructure.

We are excited about you if you have…

• 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation for enterprise software; experience with cloud solutions is a plus.

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.

• Experience using a DITA XML-based authoring tool such as oXygen XML.

• Hands-on experience with source control or content management tools like Git or Perforce.

• Familiarity with IT operations, data cluster management, or experience performing related tasks.

• Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu, or SUSE).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to gather information from subject matter experts through various methods.

• A flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of handling evolving responsibilities, tools, and requirements.

• The ability to quickly learn new technical subjects.

• A self-starter approach, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal supervision.

• The ability to work effectively across time zones with distributed teams.
