You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by helping automate and improve critical Cloud Operations processes for Redis Cloud.

• Develop, maintain, and improve automation scripts and tools that support Incident, Problem, Change, and communication processes.

• Collaborate with Cloud Operations, Engineering, Service Operations, and other teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into practical technical solutions.

• Assist in improving runbooks, playbooks, workflows, dashboards, and internal operational documentation.

• Help identify recurring operational issues and contribute to automation or process improvements that reduce manual work and improve reliability.

• Participate in testing, deployment, and maintenance of internal tools and automation used by the Cloud Operations team.

• Work with APIs, monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and internal platforms to improve operational visibility and efficiency.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development, scripting, cloud operations, technical support engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a similar technical role.

• Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript or another scripting/programming language.

• Basic understanding of cloud environments, service operations, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations, automation scripts, or operational tooling.

• Basic knowledge of software engineering practices, including Git, code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze logs or alerts, and break problems into clear next steps.

• Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and operational processes.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a remote, distributed team environment.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with Redis, databases, SaaS platforms, or large-scale production systems.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.

• Experience with ticketing or service management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar systems.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Experience writing or improving operational runbooks, playbooks, or internal documentation.
