We are seeking a passionate Cloud Migration Lead to work across our programs and lead / optimize the migration of systems into AWS. You will have the unique opportunity to experience and contribute across many aspects of our business, working alongside our programs as they support a diverse set of customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day AWS migration activities to include developing migration plans customized to each environment, leading execution of the plan, and transitioning responsibilities to the program team
- Work directly with AWS and CACI Solution Architects to optimize cloud migration approaches
- Architect Cloud environments optimized for security and each of the “-ilities” (e.g., scalability, availability, extensibility, portability, maintainability, usability)
- Support capture activities as a technical SME, developing and reviewing technical approaches related to cloud migration
- Represent CACI at AWS conferences, discussions with AWS partners, and customer briefings
- Champion all aspects of AWS Cloud migration processes including defining architectural standards, governance processes, and providing the vision to explore and effectively utilize emerging technologies
- Collaborate with end user facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches
- Perform Cloud Architecture reviews, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state
- Advocate effective architectural designs and optimize current architecture and processes
- Identify risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns
- Ensure that appropriate resources are brought to bear on complex production issues
- Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, arti fact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases
- Analyze project-related problems and create innovative solutions involving schedule, technologies, methodologies, tools, and solution components
- Defi ne the baseline and direction of a Product baseline (Architecture, COTS, Application, Infrastructure, etc.)
- Manage a team of 3-4 engineers supporting programs’ cloud migration eff orts, providing guidance and tasking
- Develop team’s technical skills through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews
- Defi ne and oversee technical and agile best practices within the team
- Advise and brief senior leadership on investment opportunities related to AWS migration
- Collaborate with AWS to defi ne customized training for programs
Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years of overall technical experience in leading system design, project development, and production support of large applications/systems
- 2+ years hands-on experience migrating systems into AWS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or similar/higher AWS certification
- Experience developing AWS-based Cloud Architectures and migration plans with appropriate justification
- Experience leading a highly technical team to complete tasks on schedule
- Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting creativity, and resourcefulness
- Experience in understanding customer requirements, designing a solution, and shaping captures
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Desired
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Understanding/Experience with Government Cloud Environments (e.g., Wild and Stormy, JWCC, C2E/C2S)
- Experience supporting multiple AWS domains (IL2/IL4/IL5/IL6/ICD 503)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$104,200-$229,200
