The FinOps Team supports cost center owners with their cloud spend and solution agreement renewals providing impact awareness, assists with cost avoidance strategies, and drives FinOps fundamentals. As a key member of the FinOps team, you will ensure technology consumption costs remain lean through cloud spend analysis, license entitlement provisioning, and invoice management.

Your Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud consumption empowering application owners with spend awareness while suggesting cost efficiency recommendations and monitors committed usage discounts
- Issues software licenses ensuring proper entitlements and products are provisioned
- Manages software asset records monitoring license pools, audits usage activity, and coordinates renewal needs with product owners and stakeholders
- Perform invoice account reconciliation validating purchase orders, resolving billing disputes, and researching late notices
- Aware of customer requests via analysis and interviews with product owners or key business stakeholders and subject matter experts to fully manage software products and licensing
- Validates the technical solutions meet budgetary guidelines and business customer needs
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Consulting
- FinOps certification is preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in cloud engineering or FinOps related role
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficient in accounting, license management, and cloud cost management tools
- Demonstrates key competencies to include Financial Acumen, Interpersonal Savvy, and Strategic Mindset
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager of Cloud FinOps. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Cloud FinOps Analyst 2, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
