The National Security Sector at Leidos has an exhilarating opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Engineer who will also serve as a Value Stream Lead (VSL) for the cutting-edge Department of the Air Force Cloudworks program at Lackland AFB, TX. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to telework two days a week while making a direct impact on national security. Sound like the challenge you’ve been waiting for?
Primary Responsibilities

Manage access to Operations resources (e.g., GitLab repositories).

Approve code promotions and oversee the Account Management Operations (AMO) team in addressing help desk and sprint tickets.

Assess and prioritize tickets across networks with laser-sharp precision.

Lead weekly backlog refinement sessions with the Scrum Master and provide expert guidance to the AMO team.

Submit detailed Weekly Activity Reports to the AMO Lead.

Collaborate with new customers during Technical Fit meetings.

Welcome and onboard new Operations team members with enthusiasm and expertise.

Represent Operations in the Scrum of Scrums meeting every three weeks and showcase sprint ticket progress.

Steer Operations planning during week-long PI planning events every quarter.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit (Required Qualifications)

Active TS/SCI security clearance from Day 1.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering (extra experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Current IAT-III certification or ability to obtain one within six months of hire.

10+ years of relevant experience, including proficiency in Python, Kanban and Scrum, AWS CloudFormation templates, and IAM permissions.

Expertise with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence).

Ability to work seamlessly in a hybrid schedule.
