Cloud Engineer

Make Your Mark:

As a key member of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) team, you will be responsible to support the entire Software Development Life Cycle, designing, deploying, and maintaining Jenkins pipelines, supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize their CI/CD processes.
Utilize programming languages like Java, Groovy, Python, Terraform, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

You'll Get To:

• Develop, manage, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to implement best practices for automated testing and deployment.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of cloud environments, enhancing automation and efficiency across development and operational workflows.
• Maintain version control, ensuring that all code changes are tracked and properly managed through Git.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for developers during deployment and operational challenges.

What You'll Bring:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree - B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in computer science or related field. Proven experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with hands-on experience working with Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Jenkins, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Jenkins Shared Library, JCasC.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, primarily Git, and branching strategies.
• Good working knowledge of scripting languages like Groovy, Bash, or Python from a Linux OS and ability to use the command line.
• Good working knowledge of buildtools like Maven, Gradle, NPM for packaging, versioning and storing in an artifact.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as CloudWatch, NewRelic, or similar. Experience with security tools like SonarQube, Snyk, Veracode or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast- paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards). Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
