About the role .
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer co-op student to join us for a four-month work term starting in May 2026. As a Cloud Engineer Co-op student, you will work closely with our cloud engineering team to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications. This hands-on experience will provide you with exposure to cutting-edge technologies, real-world projects, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our operations.
This position will be based in our Florenceville office, with the expectation of working onsite/in-office three days a week.
What you'll be doing.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure using platforms like Azure
- Develop scripts and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) to streamline cloud operations and maintenance.
- Build Automated Infrastructure CICD pipelines and enable Application teams to leverage DevSecOps
- Monitor cloud systems to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions for cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based applications and services.
- Document processes, configurations, and system architecture for knowledge sharing.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Currently enrolled in your 3 rd or 4 th year of university, seeking a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related bachelor's or master's degree.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and cloud computing principles.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript).
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to work in the office from our Florenceville office location 3 days a week.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to effectively manage tight timelines and prioritize tasks in an agile environment; flexibly handling additional tasks as assigned.
- Self-starting personality - you are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- You communicate with honesty and kindness and can build trusting relationships.
- Passionate about digital, technology, data, and analysis.
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.

Compensation Package: $23.00 - $26.00 CAD hourly wage equivalent, paid salary.
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
