An overview of this role

Our team focuses on accelerating and amplifying GitLab growth in collaboration with our strategic cloud partners. In this role you will play a pivotal role in facilitating cloud co-selling and joint go-to-market with our strategic cloud partners. In this role you will ensure that we maximize cloud incentive programs as well as, cloud events and demand generation. You will advise  GitLab field sellers by providing cloud co-selling best practices. As a result of your efforts, customers will benefit by adopting the GitLab platform and the value it delivers in accelerating and amplifying the delivery of cloud native apps while burning down cloud spend commitments.

What you’ll do  

  • Experience driving sales via a cloud co-sell model.
  • Experience in facilitating cloud partner relationships through sales, services or program management.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with cloud partners and GitLab teams.
  • Experience with cloud partner portals.
  • Facilitate initial co-sell meetings between Gitlab sellers and strategic cloud partner sellers.
  • Execution of day-to-day co-selling motion between Gitlab and strategic cloud partner field sellers.
  • Ensure that any strategic cloud partner incentives are positioned accurately and used appropriately.
  • Facilitate any corrections required related to private offers.
  • Log large cloud co-selling insight in Salesforce.
  • Ensure that all joint opportunities are registered and kept up-to-date in the corresponding strategic cloud partner’s partner portal.
  • Proactively engage with cloud regional sales reps and cloud regional sales leadership.
  • Leverage regional-specific demand generation/pipeline building activities in coordination with the GitLab alliance leader for the cloud partnership and cloud partner marketing.
  • Build, maintain, and leverage relationships and communications with strategic cloud partner regional partner liaisons.

What you’ll bring 

  • Experience selling software development tools and/or application lifecycle management solutions via strategic partnerships
  • Experience selling open source solutions.
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Interest in GitLab, and open source software
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Established personal network within the industry.
  • Results oriented perspective.

Remote-Global

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

California/Colorado/Hawaii/New Jersey/New York/Washington/DC pay range

$120,000$200,000 USD
