Join Maxis as a Cloud Developer Intern and gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and enhancing cloud-based server and web applications. In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams to review existing systems, implement updates, and ensure applications meet performance and quality standards in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Codebase Review & Documentation: Review and document the existing server and web application codebase to improve maintainability, understanding, and future development processes.

• Requirements Analysis: Analyse project requirements, identify development scope, and support the planning of technical enhancements and updates.

• Server Development: Design and implement server-side updates and enhancements to improve functionality, scalability, and performance.

• Application Development & Testing: Develop, test, and troubleshoot updates for server and web applications to ensure smooth functionality and user experience.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and quality assurance activities for server and web applications to identify bugs, validate performance, and ensure system reliability.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Programming Skills: Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.

• Web Development Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML and CSS design principles for web application development.

• Containerization Tools: Exposure to Docker containers and understanding of container-based development environments is an advantage.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a collaborative and agile environment.
