What you'll do as a Cloud Database Engineer
- Manage, maintain and support the database infrastructure mostly Microsoft SQL 2016 and above.
- Implementation of new projects as part of the development streams as well as platform improvements.
- Identification of issues, developing solutions, providing guidance and proposals, implementation, and support.
- SME SQL 2016 Enterprise edition including 'always-on" configurations, distributed replication and database management.
- Real world experience with Installation, Performance monitoring, Security, and high availability and backups.
- SQL monitoring and performance tools.
- A passion for technology and the need to understand what is new, working with others to question ways of working, plan implementations advancing the company and their knowledge.
- Experience working with development life cycle models including CI/CD pipelines.
