OVERVIEW:

Alberta Blue Cross® is seeking a System Analyst to join our Corporate Solutions Support Team within the Information Technology department. We have many COTS and SaaS applications within this portfolio that you will be supporting including Coupa, Workday platform (including HCM, Finance, Recruiting, Adaptive, Prism, Accounting Center), Corporate LMS, Kofax, Document Management solutions, and many more.

This role will assist with system administration and will be responsible for system configuration, report writing, integrations, role and security group maintenance, and will help manage system releases and new functionality rollouts within all supported Corporate applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide day-to-day support for all supported Corporate applications.

  • Work with functional leads and business analysts to create functional requirements and assist with configuration activities.

  • Analyze and classify production issues and enhancements requests including identifying changes needed and documenting scope of change and impact on other processes or integrations.

  • Perform troubleshooting and investigate root cause of issues.

  • Support data conversion activities from legacy systems into new application solutions.

  • Monitor and maintain interfaces between applications and internal/external vendor and Alberta Blue Cross-Built systems.

  • Create custom reports and dashboards as needed.

  • Set-up and maintain application security groups and role assignments.

  • Coordinate testing efforts and maintain issue logs.

  • Work collaboratively with Business-side support teams and project teams to implement new application capabilities and projects.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science/Software Development or related field is required.

  • Experience configuring, and administering a Corporate ERPs, Corporate LMS, and Procure-to-Pay solutions (like Coupa) would be an asset

  • Specific knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise interface builder (EIB), Workday Studio, OX2.0 Transporter, Workday Report Writer, and Web Services) would be an asset.

  • Experience using ETL tools.

  • Solid knowledge of business processes related to HR, Finance, Procurement, and Document Management would be a valuable asset.

  • Experience with setting up, configuring, and administering personas, security groups, and role assignments.

  • Knowledge and experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service focus, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while demonstrating a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines.

  • Creative and resourceful approach to supporting the business and the ability to think and deliver creative value-added solutions to business through self-initiative and ownership.
