Greenwood Village South is a 5-Star senior living community known for exceptional care, strong leadership, and a commitment to helping residents live their best lives. We're seeking an experienced LPN or RN to lead a dedicated nursing team and oversee a 54-bed split skilled nursing unit.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll have the support, resources, and autonomy to make a meaningful difference for residents, families, and staff every day.

Unlike many Unit Manager roles, you'll have access to ancillary support for auditing functions and daily staff communication processes, allowing you to focus on what matters most: leading your team, supporting residents, and driving quality outcomes.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

On-Call Requirement: On-call rotation every fourth weekend. Candidates should also be available to respond to occasional phone calls and clinical concerns outside of regular business hours as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Unit Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for a 54-bed split skilled nursing unit, ensuring exceptional resident care, strong clinical outcomes, and a positive work environment for your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and support nursing department staff
  • Ensure physician orders are accurately followed and implemented
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, conditions, and quality of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through education and performance feedback
  • Support orientation and onboarding of new employees
  • Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in care planning and quality assurance initiatives
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Promote restorative nursing practices and resident independence
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, medication management, and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality
  • Partner with ancillary team members who assist with auditing and staff communication processes to support operational effectiveness

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana RN or LPN license
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing
  • Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
  • Passion for serving older adults and improving quality of life
