We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and inspiring Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead a dedicated nursing team and oversee the daily operations of two of our skilled nursing units. What You'll Do

As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and leadership of your nursing units, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise nursing department staff
  • Ensure physician orders are accurately followed and implemented
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, conditions, and quality of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through education and performance feedback
  • Support orientation and onboarding of new employees
  • Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in care planning and quality assurance initiatives
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Promote restorative nursing practices and resident independence
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, medication management, and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana RN or LPN license
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing
  • Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
  • Passion for serving older adults and improving quality of life
