Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Location: 44871 Saint Andrews Church Road, California, MD

Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming lives. In this leadership position, you will oversee a passionate team of counselors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a supportive and therapeutic environment. Your expertise will help shape effective treatment plans and foster an atmosphere where healing and growth can thrive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and support counseling staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Evaluate potential clients for the appropriate level of care and identify DSM IV-TR diagnoses (Axis I-V).
  • Collaborate with counselors to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitate treatment team meetings and participate in case consultations to enhance client care.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to counselors and other assigned staff.
  • Assist in maintaining a manageable caseload as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to develop innovative programs for the facility.
  • Attend necessary training sessions to stay updated in the field.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland LCPC or LCSW-C licensure.
  • Maryland state board-approved supervisor for the following certifications/licenses: ADT, CAC-AD, and CSC-AD.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Two years of demonstrated clinical program supervision/management experience, preferably in a behavioral health environment.
  • Specialized training in CBT, trauma-informed care, and collaborative documentation.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and operational management skills.
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment, mental health, and recovery modalities.
  • Familiarity with DSM criteria and treatment planning.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
