Job DescriptionTo establish and manage the business activities for Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) clinical research enterprise. Provides day-to-day supervision of all clinical research life-cycle support in DEM to include ensuring research quality, regulatory compliance, and optimal support of ongoing studies.Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing, technical, support and trainee personnel involved in research. For clinical studies, verifies that patients’ needs are met and evaluates unit nursing, technician ad trainee care and performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field with a current permit or license to practice professional nursing in Texas, with five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in hospital, nursing or in an ambulatory clinic. This experience must include two (2) years in a research capacity.
