Job Description:

  • Designs curricula, develops programs of study, guides learners, and evaluates learning outcomes.
  • Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs.
  • Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
  • Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities.
  • Coordinates orientation of new staff, including agency personnel, into the organization.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming and adjusts content and teaching strategies based on learner needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to the care of the patient population served.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, methods of education delivery, and ability to facilitate learners’ achievement of the education objective.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software programs.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$68,194.25 - $126,851.50
