Job Summary:
The Clinical Liaison serves as the primary clinical contact for Echota Behavioral Health’s grant-funded programs and assumes assigned Clinical Lead responsibilities. This position coordinates with project directors, grant staff, clinical providers, and community partners to support screening, referrals, safety planning, linkage to care, and continuity of services. The Clinical Liaison provides clinical guidance for project planning and implementation and helps ensure grant activities align with EBH clinical practices, approved project objectives, and the needs of individuals and families served.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary clinical contact for all EBH grant-funded programs.
- Assume Clinical Lead responsibilities for assigned projects and coordinate clinical activities with project directors and clinical leadership.
- Support the development and implementation of screening, referral, safety-planning, follow-up, and linkage-to-care processes.
- Coordinate referrals from grant programs and community partners to appropriate behavioral health and supportive services.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to address barriers to care and support continuity of services for individuals and families.
- Provide clinical input on project work plans, community assessments, service coordination, protocols, and sustainability planning.
- Participate in project meetings, clinical staffing, community workgroups, and partner meetings as needed.
- Provide consultation and education to grant staff on behavioral health needs, suicide prevention, trauma-informed practices, and appropriate referral procedures.
- Coordinate with clinical leadership regarding urgent concerns and ensure staff follow established crisis-response procedures.
- Support culturally responsive practices that incorporate youth voice, family engagement, and Keetoowah values.
- Collaborate with evaluators and grants staff on clinical performance measures, service information, and reporting while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Provide clinical services, when assigned, within professional licensure, EBH procedures, and the scope of the applicable project.
- Maintain documentation of clinical coordination, consultations, referrals, and assigned project activities.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures set forth by Echota Behavioral Health.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related clinical field.
License/Certifications:
- Current Oklahoma clinical license, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required, or ability to become certified within 60 days of hire.
Experience:
- Experience providing behavioral health services and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams or community partners.
- Knowledge of suicide-risk screening, safety planning, crisis response, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive services.
- Ability to coordinate clinical activities across multiple programs, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively with clinical and nonclinical staff.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s license and a clear background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel locally for project activities and required meetings.
- Requires discretion, empathy, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Work Environment:
- Office-based position.
This position may have care of or contact with Indian children.

Its mission is to promote strengths, resources, wellness, positive mental health, and addiction recovery in surrounding communities through evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
