We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Education Manager to support NICU and Maternity healthcare professionals through strategic clinical education and customer engagement initiatives.
In this highly visible field-based role, you will serve as a trusted clinical expert for customers and internal teams while driving education programs, supporting key opinion leader (KOL) relationships, and helping shape the future of maternal and infant care.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead Clinical Education Initiatives
  • Develop and execute strategic territory education plans aligned to customer needs and clinical challenges
  • Deliver engaging educational programs through:
    • 1:1 clinical presentations
    • Roundtable discussions
    • Formal educational sessions
    • Webinars and training programs
  • Translate complex clinical topics into practical, customer-focused education for diverse audiences
  • Support customer education initiatives focused on lactation, infant feeding, NICU, and maternity care
Serve as a Clinical Resource
  • Act as an internal clinical expert supporting Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and National Accounts teams
  • Provide clinical insights that help shape educational strategies and account plans
  • Support clinically focused sales training and field competency development
  • Participate in journal clubs, clinical discussions, and ongoing professional education
Manage KOL & Professional Relationships
  • Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders within assigned regions
  • Coordinate KOL consulting agreements, schedules, and event participation
  • Collaborate with clinical experts and customers to support Medela educational initiatives and programs
Support Tradeshows & Symposiums
  • Participate in the planning and execution of regional and national tradeshows, symposiums, and conferences
  • Provide booth support and customer engagement at clinical events
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure educational content and event objectives align with business priorities
WHAT YOU BRING
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Active RN license or Advanced Practice degree required
  • IBCLC certification or related certification with 2+ years of experience required
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze clinical insights and translate them into educational strategies
  • Excellent collaboration, organization, and time management capabilities
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reside within the assigned territory; proximity to a major airport preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in NICU, maternity, lactation, or infant feeding environments
  • Clinical backgrounds may include:
    • NICU Nursing
    • Clinical Nurse Specialist/Educator
    • Dietitian
    • OT/ST Feeding Specialist
    • Infection Prevention
  • Experience with Medela professional products strongly preferred
  • Experience working within global or matrixed organizations preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
  • Travel requirement: approximately 70%, including overnight and occasional weekend travel
  • Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs occasionally
